My opinion on Efteling: is it a good visit?

My visit to Efteling, the famous amusement park located in the heart of the Netherlands, was a great time. This time, I didn’t visit it with Amélie, but with my sister and my two nieces. They are big fans of amusement parks and wanted to discover Efteling after having been charmed by pictures of the park seen on the Internet.

One of the highlights of Efteling is undoubtedly its selection of rides. Whether you’re an adventurer looking for a thrill on ‘De Vliegende Hollander’ or prefer a more leisurely adventure on the ‘Droomvlucht,’ you’ll be satisfied!

The park does a good job of balancing family attractions and thrill rides to meet all expectations. Personally, I found the rides for children or adults who don’t like thrills to be the best. They have the merit of fitting in perfectly with the style and decoration of Efteling.

Efteling is best known for its fantasy world inspired by European fairy tales. The “Sprookjesbos” (Fairytale Forest) is a real gem. With its fairy-tale atmosphere and carefully crafted decorations, it brings to life the stories that have lulled our childhood, from Little Red Riding Hood to Hansel and Gretel. My mother, who always spends more time looking at the sets at Disneyworld than the attractions, would have loved this park!

The cleanliness of the park and its organization were impeccable, even though it was a weekend with many visitors.

Efteling is more than just an amusement park, it’s a journey into a fairytale world, a gentle and joyful return to childhood. Whether you’re with your family, friends or partner, a visit to Efteling is an unforgettable adventure. Highly recommended!
